My Gear

For the past 2 years I have been shooting with the mirrorless Fuji system, which I absolutely love! It’s ideal for travel due to its small size and weight, and the exceptional color, image quality and film simulations are second to none.   Fuji brings pure joy to my photography!

Fuji cameras have a very retro-look, and I’m frequently asked if I’m shooting film. They are state of the art digital technology, and Fuji is continuously innovating to bring the latest technology to the market.

Here is what’s currently in my bag:

  • Fuji XT20 mirrorless camera
  • Fuji x100f mirrorless camera with the fixed 23mm lens – excellent for street photography
  • Fuji 18-55 mm mid range lens – perfect all around lens for everyday shooting
  • Fuji 18-135 mm telephoto lens – a great travel lens when a variety of focal lengths are desired in one lens
  • Fuji 55-200 mm telephoto lens – ideal for wildlife and other landscape images
  • Fuji 10-24 mm super wide angle lens – my choice for interiors and vast landscapes
  • Fuji 50 mm prime lens – best for portraits and great bokeh effects
  • Fuji 35 mm prime lens – also for portraiture, with a bit wider focal length
  • Samyang 12 mm prime lens – a fixed manual wide angle lens with superior quality
  • Lensbaby Velvet 56 mm prime lens and the Lensbaby Trio 28 – for dreamy creative images
  • Circular polarizers and the Lee 10 stop and 6 stop neutral density filters for landscape and water shots
  • Manfrotto Travel Tripod – essential for anything after dark and long exposure shots
  • Remote cable release for use with tripod
  • Plenty of extra batteries and San Disk Extreme SDXC memory cards
  • Lots of lens cloths
